it depends. apparently first party (Whatever they are) won't work but 3rd party will. 1st party is mario etc i am pretty sure

Club Nintendo points have to be Australian to work here.

I've had a few different games from UK sites over the years on Wii and none of them have ever worked.

if by 'macers' you mean Mcdonalds(maccas), you can get a hamburger meal, a cheeseburger meal, and others i can't remember for less then 5 dollars. Its also a pretty good gift when its more then a 10% discount on some of the games ;D
