Some TV's may be no good for some of this stuff.

3 - Watching static
4 - Fishtank
5 - Throwing around the room
6 - Testing out your blenders capabilities.
7 - Cricket practice
8 - Laughing at
9 - Selling to TV collectors
10 - Trade-in's for newer things
11 - Digital TV after buying a set top box
12 - All forms of video footage
13 - Giving to a Third World Country that doesn't have TV
14 - Spare parts
15 - Footrest

Hostly, if I had a choice I would have never upgraded to digital. maybe not never but at least when you get bad reception on the an analogue the screen doesn't freeze with a giant ******* bar say "SCRAMBLED DEVICE".

back in my day, we got a little bit of static, move the areal and it's fixed.

no.13 how does that work? what could anyone possibly do with an analog TV in a third world country?
