We've had quite a few series of Underbelly and we're set for another one. I know some of them haven't been as good / lived up to the level of the first one. Although i do have quite a bit of hope that this will be one of the best that we've seen.

Not much can be brought from the trailer, But it looks like it's going to be dramatic and packed with some interesting moments.

Who else will be watching?

I've watched all of the others so will check this out aswell. The series is meant to be shorter aswell which I think should help.

This season is about Anthony Perish, a guy convicted of murder (a rather coldblooded one too). I expected it to be someone worse tbh, the ads make out as if he's the worst criminal australia has ever had.

They could have chosen a better name, Lol. But still, Name aside, I think it's going to be good.

I guess the reason they chose him, Judging by the trailer ad is he "doesn't exist" on anything (apparently..) couple that with some behind-the-scenes type dealings he was probably involved with and you'll get a somewhat great-decent series.

So, I've heard a few stories that the production company is keen to possibly revisit Tony Mokbel's story for the possibly sixth series.

Also a sixteenth book, In the related series by John Sylvester and Andrew Rule, Underbelly: The Golden Casket was published back in 2010, And if adopted into the TV Series, Would serve as a direct sequel to the 2008 season.

lol like sitting through more adverts at the end just to come back to what happens in the rest of the season [Facepalm]
