What're everyone's thoughts on the new chapter?

Who's declaring war on the Gotei 13? If it was the 0-squad than wouldn't the former captain be there? If so, isn't it a bit odd that they would say "We meet for the first time?". Obviously if she isn't there, that's something else..but still weird that they wouldn't bring her along to "test" her allegiance.

If not Ishida, then his dad probably had some idea. Remember how he made Ishida promise to not side with the Shinigami in exchange for restoring his powers? It wouldn't surprise me if Kubo referred back to that as some kind of foreshadowing. Like, Daddy forced Ishida to make the promise so that he doesn't get treated as a traitor or something, maybe even to hope that when the war does come around, Ishida would hold no strong feelings of friendliness towards the Shinigami.

I only speculate something so farfetched because of Kubo referring back to a single panel of Ishida going into a deep thought back when Ichigo first got the substitute's badge during the Xcution arc.
