So what's your pick of the best and/or the worst. I thought of making a poll, but I cannot figure out how to do it. My picks are:

Best
1. Game Of Thrones - a brilliant medieval / fantasy show with great performances. If you can stomach the 'high impact violence', full frontal nudity, and swearing, it's not to be missed.
2. Dexter S6 - a return to form for the serial-killer killer series.
3. Boardwalk Empire S2 - a much better season than the first one. with more action, and still good performances.
4. American Horror Story - a surprisingly good horror / drama series airing on Ch11, rather than Foxtel.

Worst
1. Celebrity Apprentice - a pathetic attempt of a reality TV show.

"A return to form"? When did Dexter ever lose it's form? (except maybe season 2 of course) Excluding Season 6's Epic conclusion, it has been inferior to both season 4 and 5 in my opinion.

I've tried American Horror story. Watched an episode on tv and it seemed pretty boring.

Too many 'slow' episodes, and the climax was anti-climatic too me. There was also inconsistencies that stood out.
Debra Morgan ends up not finding out its Dexter +1 behind the masked off area, and letting them go. And the detective who hired the PI to investigate Dexter, just happens to dismiss the entire affair - just to be on Deb's good side. The PI found murdered in his van, and the same detective doesn't figure the most-likely suspect which is Dexter.

sounds like you werent paying attention honestly

season 5 had me on the edge constantly. i thought they were gonna be found out many times.

Debra letting them go wasn't an inconsistency, she'd made it clear for a while that she thought that it wasn't so bad that these two people were getting revenge on this woman's rapists. In fact she'd called it romantic previously.

Quinn dismissed it, and let it go because Dexter did him a huge favour. the blood had spilled out on to quinns shoe when he went to check it out, and dexter cleared quinn despite it actually being the PI's blood. It wasn't just to be on deb's good side. Nothing like that. In fact, Quinn was looking at dexter suspiciously after the PI was killed. He was so suspicious, but let it go after Dexter got him off the hook.

Dam I haven't heard of any of the TV shows mentioned in the OP, just shows how little TV I watch then.

Dexter was great this year aswell as Breaking Bad, the last few eps of that were brilliant.

I always love Survivor aswell.

This year, absolutely loved Louie, Nurse Jackie, Sunny, Idiot Abroad and Homeland.

Housos is definately the worst show I've seen this year. Terrible.

Breaking Bad was easily the best series I've seen this year... but I haven't seen much...

Worst would have to be, yet again, HIMYM. That show can't help sucking.

Sex in the City... One night I made the mistake of watch late-night (after midnight) re-runs because there was nothing else on and by the end of it, I was in disbelief... I can't believe people watch that crap!

24, The X-Fiels, Seinfield, Big Brother and True Blood... Now there's some good programming... All of which my wife hates pasionately (except True Blood).
