So from the approval of Luke, I decided to make a [Official Cricket Thread] where you can talk about CRICKET!, from Domestic Cricket to International Cricket. yeah india definitely had the advantage after the rain but it was taken away by wade and the hussey brothers.

India continually show they can not play outside of their own countries conditions. Dhoni keeps chasing the runs and bowling first bcos thats what won them the world cup but in Australia our pitches are not as dry and will move more in the evening.

India also do not know how to play on a wicket with bounce and pace. As the commentators said they need to prepare some bouncy training wickets in India and get them used to it. Kohli is the only one that seems to know what hes doing.

also another good point made by the commentators was the complaints about lack of preparation are stupid. just get on the phone to a grade team or any team and they will gladly give these touring teams a match to warm them up.

If they had the advantage why did they get smashed its not t20 it wasnt Aus b or c grade playing

However, Australia took the advantage back with big hitting and great bowling and catches

Very embarassing seeing england not being able to get used to the conditions [Facepalm]

Lucky they can play everywhere else.

Its not just the international team but also under 19's & the lions getting touched up as well.

They will all learn from this.

Lucky for england they have a year and a half of easy tests.

The way Bell & Morgan threw their wickets away pissed me off the most.

Actually every single one of them got start and failed badly...

What are everyone's thoughts about David Hussey as a potential short term test player? he still thinks he could offer abit even at 34.

A year ago I thought its probably a little too late to debut him but seeing as there will be 10 Ashes tests pretty much back to back over 2013-14 you want the best players in that XI.

D Hussey is in better form & a better player than a few already in the side, I think he could add abit to the slow bowling stocks alongside Lyon also.

Might have been an option to replace his brother or Ponting.

I'd say they're penciled in for at least the English Ashes now. It'd be hard to have them plus D Hussey and Haddin. The only batsman under 30 would be Warner.

I'd opt to replace him for his older brother but I don't think that would happen it's probably both or David misses out.

There's also Khawaja, Marsh & Hughes as younger options that could be included if Cowan fails & they pull their fingers out.

I still think Mitch Marsh could be a smoky for at least the squad if he has a few good shield performances leading up to 2013.

I also think Wade has all but done enough to be first test keeper for the Windies tour if he performs there time to retire Haddin.
