Just wondering if anyone else has seen this series? Its brilliant! I downloaded an episode just to see what its like and couldnt get enough of it... so i ended up buying both seasons and downloading the third lol I heard they're even making a PC game for it which should be interesting... but i'm completely obsessed with this show now. Gotta get my hands on those books too...

Anyway! Anyone else love this show or what? For those who dont know anything about the show/books - its about a serial killer, Dexter Morgan, who works for the Miami Police Department as a forensic blood splatter analyst. Unlike other killers though Dexter has been taught to channel his urges and lust for murder by only killing "bad people" (usually other killers that have escaped the judicial process)

Its a really excellent show.

I reckon aye, I wasnt expecting her to shoot herself though - at least she didnt shoot Deb first - she could have easily have done that. But I'm running all these scenarios through my head to see how Dexter will deal with him... trying to think what I'd do in his situation. Probably invite him into his office and talk lol Cause if you think about it Arthur really doesnt have anything concrete on Dexter other than the 'secret identity'... maybe that will be revealed and Quinn will become like Super-Doakes or something?

And have you read the books? She swears so much in the TV show because she swears so much in the books. It wouldnt be the same character if they changed her that much.

I have read them. I think they are terrible. Plus, her character in the books is pretty AND has huge boobs. Jennifer Carpenter has neither of these invaluable qualities.

You pretty much just described my type, that really comes down to personal preference though.

Back on topic, I can't wait to see what a confrontation in the middle of homocide is gonna turn into, I think maybe quinn will notice something here but I doubt he'll "do a doakes", they've covered that ground already.

Yeah you got a point, but there's definitely tension there now and we've already seen Quinn try and follow Dexter once before to try and dig up some dirt, so who knows. Anyway only 4 more days and we find out!!

Harrison is only 1 - I doubt he'll remember... but yeah big twist at the end, i dont know whether I'm glad or disappointed that Rita is dead lol I hated her character but Dexter needed someone like that to sort of balance things out. S05E01 is gonna be a tear jerker for sure... a shame we gotta wait another year

But anyway at least Trinity is dead... Dexter left it waaay to long, but that finale was pretty intense.

I think my main question is how did Rita die, accident/suicide/murder? It wouldn't surprise me if it was murder, a new serial killer for next season maybe? But i'm leaning more towards accident with the message she left Dexter on his phone.

That voice-mail message makes no sense with timing at all. There seem to be a massive delay with Dexter receiving it. Atleast an hour delay. It just so happens it got to his phone as he got home!

I believe Rita's death is by no means an accident or suicide. I'd put that out of the equation because she loves life too much for suicide, accident?? With a pool of blood on the floor and Harrison sitting on it? Whilst Rita lays dead in the bath of bloodied water??

Rita's death actually resembles ones of Trinity's, maybe that's why Trinity last words were a little mysterious? But I don't think he did it because he had no idea where Dexter actually lived and had no resources to find out...plus Dexter was somehow following him all day until night time?!

Although I have no idea how Dexter sabotaged Trinity's car!

The way the murder was left also resembled Dexter's origin! I think it's a murder from the past...Harrison's past! Taking revenge somehow but also knew of Dexter? Could be the son/daughter of the killer from Harrison's past??

On a more unreal guess, could it be Dexter's Dark Passenger who may committed this cold murder?? Nahhhh
