Re-Imaginings of Classic Games

All to often we hear people saying that they'd love to see a remake or re-imagining of this or that and when it comes to long-running games series - Final Fantasy and the Legend of Zelda being the most perfect examples - we also often hear people complaining that the stories are confusing (The Legend of Zelda's split time-line, anyone?) or just getting old (such as Final Fantasy's "same s#&t, different game" thing that people are often complaining about)...

Now I'm no asking about these two series specifically, but what "classic" games would you like to see remade or re-imagined?

Would you stick to the "classic" game religiously (only with updated graphics and sound), or would you update the mechanics of the game for modern gaming?

I would love to see Battletoads with the awesome co-op mode! I love cooperative games. And Discworld, definitely Discworld. I loves me some point-and-click adventures.

I'd love to see another Medievil game! Medievil is a game that I grew up playing and in my opinion it was brilliant. I still to this day possess a copy of it :)

A remake or re-imagining of Jazz Jackrabbit would be awesome!

Maybe Nintendo should buy the franchise and use it as the new "Mario" (a number of "key" sources are claiming that Nintendo are secretly considering a new franchise, that is more relevant to modern times han Mario)?
