Does anyone actually like summer?

Everyday I watch on TV I see people continuly say that they love summer and hate the winter but if you really compare it summer is the worst season there is.

in winter if your cold you can wear a jacket outside and be warm, in summer you can wear whatever you want outside you won't feel cooler.
in winter mozzies won't attack you at all, in summer its a constant problem.
in winter the electric bill is smaller since if your cold you can wear a jumpter unlike in summer where again you have to put your ac at max in order to fight the heat which fails.
bugs run rampant in summer and not in winter.
skin cancer is a bigger problem in summer since alot of people are sun bathing.
in summer you get dehydrated more often
in summer the chance of you getting sun birn and heat stroke increase
in summer you are more prone to sickness
summer brings out the idoits among people

summer sucks, i can't see why people love it so much.

I kinda have mixed feelings about summer. I do hate the Boiling hot nights when the temperature outside stays over 30+, but I enjoy dressing in summer clothes.

Winter I tend to get lazy and put on weight.

Summer has awesome fruit out too :O

Best part of summer is Cricket and Tennis (BBQ's and the occasional beer too) :D

You can go swimming in any other season and its still great (indoor heating)
that just yells skin cancer and sun burn to me
you mean watching it on telly?
you cna have bbqs and beer in any other season to y'know
ummm....okay...

those would be valid if they only exist in summer but any of them can be done in spring.

Although in winter people tend to use heaters which, if they are electric heaters, use up a lot of power and can cost quite a bit to run if you have them on constantly. Also during winter people tend to stay in the shower longer and also have it hotter, which uses up more gas and water (or electricity if you have electric heating), so winter can end up costing more money than summer. :P

Although after arguing against one of your points I still like winter a lot better then summer, Spring is best season though because it has storms =)

I usually stay inside all day with the air con on max on those boiling days. Summer does have awesome fruit also ice cream [Derp] and to me thats the only best thing about summer since i'm actually lazier during summer but quite active afterwards.

I play more games though so....

Where I live its so far from anything remotely cool that its one of the most boring places in Victoria [Facepalm] so summer does suck here.

Its not people's fault that alot of them prefer winter and autumn instead of summer and spring since those seasons are easily adaptable to and is easier to fight off the weather while spring and summer its lol do whatever you want the weather will always get the better of you.

Best things about summer are -
Home grown tomatoes that taste like actual tomatoes instead of that horrible supermarket crap.
Warm peaches picked straight from the tree.
Cricket/Tennis on telly.
Dry heat (i hate humidity)
7 weeks of school holidays!

Summer is so much better than Winter. This year it hasn't even really been that hot (and I'm a Queenslander). I hate Winter, it's gloomy, there's not much you can go out and do and you get fat and lazy from no exercise cos you can't be stuffed going outside.

Summer
Cons - Working makes me sweaty, can't sleep at night, constantly uncomfortable, the breeze from any fan or A/C annoys the smurf out of me.
Pros - I like swimming, although I don't get to do much of it, holidays happen in Summer, Slushies taste better in Summer, I can wear Summer clothes without getting any weird looks

Winter
Cons - People look at me funny when I wear shorts ( I hate pants ) , It gets really cold at work, no heater in the back of the car
Pros - Sitting under the heater, wrapping self in blankets at night, hot Milo's, cooking marshmallows on le stove, good memories of Minecraft in Winter.

Autumn is best season 'cause my birthday and it's a wetter version of Spring, minus the hay-fever.
