- freaking Pururin

and about Another...
Probably giving this too much thought since we'll all get trolled, but I was actually discussing this with someone else earlier. Based on what we've been told there's a good chance dead guy is Koichi:
- Koichi is 16 years old (starting junior high)
- his mother graduated in 1972, story is set in 1998
- since Koichi's mother died when he was born, and assuming the person who died comes back the same age, Koichi died between 1988-1997
This reasoning is flawed since he could've died at a younger age (say 15), returned and already aged another year. But...
- he was in Yomiyama 1.5 years ago (ep6 10:02), and probably met twintail countermeasure prez. Koichi doesn't remember this, so his return happened in the last 1.5 years.

There is still insufficient evidence to suggest he is the culprit. Actually everything would still make sense if the dead person is twintail prez. Koichi may have witnessed her death, but would not remember her, since both their memories were altered. But at least this sorta narrows down the suspects...
Also we can use this information to look for plotholes later >=).

Speaking of Nisemonogatari, there was an anime club at I went to earlier today that was showing off the first few episodes from the season, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm glad that the borderline warped humour and randomness has been retained; Senjyogahara's personality display in the opening episode was downright sadistic, and there were quite a few laughs within each episode (despite the subject matter).

With that said, I am slightly disappointed at the reduced number of screen cuts to convey Araragi's thoughts, and this season seems to be placing a greater emphasis on the harem aspects (read: sexual teasing) than Bakemonogatari; I much preferred the mystery of each aberration and its potential consequences. Perhaps this will change in the later episodes...

Finished Steins;Gate today.

Absolutely fantastic. During the first few eps i was sorta left wondering WTF!? but the more i watched the more i was drawn in, to the point where I'm hanging off the edge of my seat to find out whats happening next.

Got a heap of other stuff i gotta get through now.

I'm really loving the second season. I mean, yeah, the fan service is sexy as all hell, but I'm glad they can also keep up the witty dialog. Actually, it's a nice balance as the dialog sometimes bores me and I space out because half the time I don't know what they're talking about. Later episodes are concentrating on the story now. The only thing sexy is the dialog now. :P
